I am the door

When you feel like no one understands what you’re going through or knows your situation… or feel alone and no one cares, there is one who does and is always with you regardless of your mistakes, shortcomings or circumstances. He went through it before us and for us so that we may have life and have it more abundantly  and as an example how to live. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV His name is Jesus. The most amazing thing is His love is perfect, eternal and present regardless what we believe or how we behave.  “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit” 1 Peter 3:18 NKJV

This is not an excuse or permission to continue living the way we want, rather an invitation to learn His ways and follow Him. He came as our perfect example, not that we become perfection as He is, but that we love as He does, perfecting our love for ourselves and each other. He lives for everyone, “that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Mathew 5:45 NKJV

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 NKJV

He loves you where you are, wherever you are, but He doesn’t want to leave us there. The gift of grace is available to all. You only have to accept it. He will meet you there, and from there take you places you could only dream of. Letting Him in is the first step.  “I am the door of the sheep.” John 10:7 NKJV
